The Yukon Soaps Company - Vera Williams
Joella Hogan the creator of The Yukon Soaps Company has combined two of her passions: traditional First Nations beadwork and handcrafted soaps. This unscented soap line showcases beadwork from Southern Tutchone women from the community of Haines Junction. Each soap includes a brief bio of each artist and what community they come from on the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Traditional Territory. Each soap shares just a snippet of this beautiful craft. There are four different soaps, each packaged in biodegradable plastic and a reusable hand-stamped bag.
Joella resides on her traditional territory Mayo (YT), reconnecting with her community, elders, land, and language.
